Under The Moon Anthologies
See other UTM projects Brenna has going on the Evil Overlords, Grellan War, Undead In Blue, and Urban Grimms pages!
Forbidden Love Magazine and its parent company, Under The Moon (an imprint of Final Sword Productions), are embarking on a fabulous new concept in fiction anthologies. The magazine will run 60,000 words for a standard issue and 100,000 words for special issues. Each issue will be themed, and each story will have hand-drawn art created for the stories. The magazine will be made available in both an 8X11 graphic novel issue and a standard trade paperback size. It's a sweeping new idea, crafted by Scott Palter, Terri and Sam Pray. I am proud to be an author for this new venture.
FL
will be dark romance and dark
erotic
romance. For those of you unfamiliar with dark romance, let me explain
what it
entails. Dark romance, simply put, is romance that has a dark edge...or
walks
completely on the dark side of the human existence. Maybe the hero and
heroine
aren't perfect 10s, sweet and caring. Maybe they are kickass and
villains in
their own rights. Maybe the plot deals with serious subjects like rape,
madness, torture, or slavery. Maybe the sex is heavily BDSM. Maybe
there isn't
a standard happily ever after involved. In some rare cases (that we
term
classic love stories...think Romeo and Juliet or Dr. Zhivago), there is
no HEA
at all! Dark romance are
stories that could
have been
romance, if they toed the line of genre romance. Since they don't, they
earn
the title "dark romance." Coined in the 1960s, dark romance fell out
of use for quite some time, but it's
back
with a
vengeance, and FL is right in the thick of things.

Bad Boys cover property of Under The Moon. Original sketches of Polero from "Playing Games" (c) 2006 Thomas Scott (artist) and property of Under The Moon.
BAD BOYS ISSUE-
He's the man mother warned you about.
He's dark, dangerous (maybe even to you) and completely irrisistable.
In every time and place, you'll find them, and what woman doesn't want
to taste the fire of a bad boy?
PLAYING GAMES- From the Night Warrior series... This re-edit of the originals contains both Playing Games and PGII: Blackout. When Denise sets out to find a sicko who gets off on draining blood from his victims, the last thing she expects is to learn that vampires are real...and very desirable. It is a game, meant to distract the enemy when they least need the distraction. It’s time for another round, and Denise is the prize.

Wicked Women (c) 2007 Mates Laurentiu of Avatar Art.

Moon. Marked cover art by Debi Lewis (c) 2009.
WICKED
WOMEN
ISSUE-
There's something inherently sensual in
a take-charge woman. She might carry poison in her ring, a dagger in
her bodice or a secret identity. Whatever the case may be, rest assured
that she gets what she wants, and she'll do anything she has to do to
make her mark.
MARKED- Money clips and microchips...that’s what little boys are made of. Lace and flair and grave malware...that’s what little girls are made of. Who knew a fatal crash could feel so good? Houston Lawton's sons are every woman's dream men: successful, intelligent, rich. There's just one little problem; they can't feel love. A jaded woman might claim that's typical of the breed, but they're not clueless; rather cybernetic inhibitors suppress the emotion to stabilize their neuro-processors. They've never lost control...until now.
Releasing in e-book from Phaze Feb

Thebes,
4th C BC... The elite fighting force, inspired by Plato's Symposium,
consists of 150 homosexual couples, the fiercest fighting force of
their day. Forbidden Love, 21st C AD... In deference to the Sacred
Bands of the Thebes elite, this collection is all M/M couples, facing
darkness and danger as a working team.
THE MASTER'S LOVER- Mages' Law states that a Star Mage must reproduce, if he is able. King's Law allows a mage any sexual partners he wishes. The life of a male mage who prefers the company of other men on the sheets is far from easy, but what starts as a hard lesson in survival, ends up as a hard lesson of another sort.
